This is a VR diving game with the plan to have progression oriented around finding unique creatures, loot, treasure and lost items. Selling them will allow you to purchase upgrades. Going from freediving, to scuba diving. Eventually unlocking upgrades for speed, harpoon guns, and even a sea scooter.
This was the first day of development. A very basic control scheme was produced where holding the controller grip and moving your hand, would thrust you.
With testers input, I had worked on making a control scheme where no input is required. The force from the palms of your hands were all it took to thrust you into the direction you wanted to go. The swimming mechanics are a lot more complicated under the hood than they appear, with hidden tuning for player comfort, and using your heads looking direction to secretly influence up and down swimming. This is because you standing playing this game in real life, you cannot really swim upside down or lean very far. This problem made swimming down challenging, so now when you look down, downward swimming is enhanced to move down very easily for example. There was also an oxygen system added, which made exploring the depths much more risky.
